Father Nony
FATHER NONY (ANASTACIO) VILLALUZ, CRM.
The son of Julian and Zanie (Azucena) Villaluz, Father Nony was born in Quezon City, Philippines, on July 8, 1965.
He came to the Adorno Seminary in Ramsey, New Jersey, in the summer of 1996 and attended the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology in South Orange, New Jersey. He made his Solemn Profession in St. Joseph Church on July 28, 2001, and was ordained a priest in the same church by Most Reverend Arthur Serratelli, Bishop of Paterson, on December 8, 2001.
Father Nony was the first companion of Father Nicholas in starting the Philippine foundation, and instrumental in getting the first batch of vocations for the Adorno Fathers in 2002. He remained at the Adorno seminary in Vinzons Phillippines, until 2006 when he was asked to return to the United States to become an Assistant to the Pastor of St. Joseph’s in Lodi, New Jersey. He remained there until 2013, where he had the opportunity to exert himself in all aspects of parish life. At present, he is collaborating in the Healing Ministry at the Shrine of Saint Padre Pio, Sto. Thomas, Batangas in the Philippines.
